Dr. med. Claudia Baum - Head Physician Multiple Sclerosis
Claudia Baum was born in Halle an der Saale in Germany. She studied at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and received her doctorate magna cum laude from Charité Berlin on the subject of post-stroke epilepsy. Before working at the Rehaklinik Zihlschlacht, she worked for several years in Zurich at the Swiss Epilepsy Centre and the Psychiatric University Hospital.
Her main areas of interest are epileptology, multiple sclerosis and the treatment of spasticity (including botulinum toxin A or the use of intrathecal baclofen pumps). She has been working at the Rehaklinik Zihlschlacht since 2011. Claudia Baum lives in Zurich.
Hobbies: Art (Modern Art and Art Brut), sailing. She's fluent in English and German.
